PAID INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY
LEARN AND EARN: Commissioned account executive positions (2) in print and digital sales at the Valdosta Daily Times. Internships are available fall and spring semesters (summer semester may be negotiable).
Successful candidates should have an academic background and/or experience in sales, advertising or related specialties (retail/hospitality). You must be self-motivated, organized, and able to build relationships with clients and committed to working as a member of a team.
You must be available 20 hours per week. Commissioned-based pay.
LCOBA students can earn class credit for a Marketing Elective or Business Elective. Satisfies class credit for MKTG 4980 (Marketing Internship) AND BUSA 3999 at the same time.
All majors are welcome, but sales, marketing, and public relations majors are especially encouraged to apply. However, talent and tenacity will trump major. Successful interns may be considered for full-time employment at corporate publications.
